Main duties and responsibilities
• Teaching students at undergraduate and masters’ level through lectures and seminars.
• Developing course contents and lectures slides, and unit coordination.
• Evaluating and developing curriculum, and participating in course design and course revision and in setting degree requirements.
• Conducting academic research and publications, and presenting research outcomes in scientific conferences and seminars.
• Undertaking consultancies in my area of specializations, and attending departmental and faculty meetings.
• Supervising research components of the undergraduate and masters’ students.
• Maintain student records and advising students on academic and related matters.
• Assessing student progress through different assessment criteria like assignments, and marking examination scripts.
• Examination administration as a member of the examination committee. The duties include setting internal and external examiners, collecting questions from the examiners, moderation, conducting exams, and preparation and publication of the final results.
• Serving as a member of different committees like academic committee, planning committee, and any faculty or administrative committee assigned, attending meetings, and contributing to faculty policies.
